The Games

Numeracy - Simple Sums

How many simple sums can you answer correctly in 30 seconds?
On the left-hand side you’ll see a scrolling list of sums. The sum to answer is highlighted in the white box. Just type in your answer on the right of the screen and click the “enter” button or press “enter” on your keyboard. If you make a mistake either click the “clear” button or press the “back-space” button on your keyboard.

Once you’ve entered your answer, the sums will scroll-up to the next one. If you’ve got the answer right, a green tick will appear next to the sum you’ve just done.

If you’re wrong, you’ll see a big red cross. As the game moves on, the sums will get harder, so take care. After 30 seconds, the game will finish and you’ll get your score.

Observation - Shadows

Can you match the shapes to their shadows?
On screen you’ll see the shadows of different kinds of vehicles moving about the screen.

At the bottom of the screen are a set of buttons showing some different vehicle types.

All you need to do is match-up the shadow to the correct vehicles. Click on all the matching objects to clear the level. Watch out though, not all the objects have matching shadows. If you match all the shadows, a big tick is shown on the screen. Get it wrong and you’ll see a big red cross.

As the game continues, it gets harder so you’ll need to stay on your toes. After 30 seconds, the game will finish and you’ll get your score.

Analysis - Pairs

Match as many pairs as possible
Test your observation skills by matching the pairs hidden in the grid on screen.

At the bottom you’ll see the number of pairs you need to match. Once you spot a pair, just click on each of them, their background will change colour.

Click on all the correct pairs and you see a big green tick. If you get it wrong, a big red cross will appear on screen and you’ll be moved onto the next level.

As you progress, the grid will get bigger and you’ll need to find more pairs.

After 30 seconds, the game will finish and you’ll get your score.

Recall - What's Missing?

Memorise the items, then try to recall what they were
This game will test your ability to memorise a set of objects. On screen you’ll see a grid of different objects. You’ll need to remember what they were to score points.

Once you’ve memorised them, click on the “memorised?” button.

This will replace one or more of them with a question mark and further line of objects below. You just need to click on the missing objects.

Get it right and you’ll see a green tick. Get it wrong and you’ll see a red cross.

Be careful as we’ve added in extra objects to make it a bit harder to trip you up. As you continue, the game will get harder and you’ll need to memorise more objects.

After 30 seconds, the game will finish and you’ll get your score.
