Current Vacancies - Analyst Programmer


We are currently recruiting Analyst Programmers to join one of our expanding teams in Edinburgh.

The Analyst Programmer role is required to develop, maintain, test and implement efficient IT systems to support the business requirements across a range of hardware and software platforms.

The responsibilities for this role will include:

  • Developing, testing and implementing new software solutions in line with development standards
  • Preparing programme & system specifications for software changes
  • Assessing and managing the impact of software and systems changes on data files and business processes
  • Developing and maintaining strong working relationships with key stakeholders


Knowledge and Experience

To be successful in this position it is essential that the successful candidate has the following skills & experience:

  • Strong commercial experience of PL/SQL development and testing, Oracle, 9I and database design
  • Strong knowledge of system development techniques and IT development standards
  • Ability to develop and maintain relationships with key customers
  • Excellent written and communication skills
