Current Vacancies - Business Analyst


We are currently looking for Business Analysts to join our expanding teams in Edinburgh.

The focus of this role will be to deliver technical calculations specifications and checking tools. It will also include supporting the delivery of detailed business designs, processes and functionality. Ensuring all work meets the end customer’s expectations.

The responsibilities of the role will include:

  • Having responsibility for calculations specifications
  • Delivering detailed spreadsheets and formulas for checking purposes
  • Supporting the development of detailed design solutions
  • Supporting the delivery of business requirements within budgets and timescales
  • Assisting with the design, development and execution of test plans
  • Supporting the implementation of projects within the business

Typical Knowledge and Experience

It is essential that the successful candidate has previous experience of carrying out calculations work for business related purposes and is experienced in working with detailed aspects of spreadsheet design and formula creation.

Experience of using Microsoft packages such as Excel at an advanced (VBA) business level is essential.

Having a good commercial understanding about the financial services industry and the Business Analyst role is desirable.
