Demutualisation Information

In April 2001, the Policyholder Circular (1.2MB) and Questions and Answers documents were issued to all Scottish Life Assurance Company members, policyholders and interested parties, giving information in respect of the proposed demutualisation and transfer of the business from The Scottish Life Assurance Company to The Royal London Mutual Insurance Society Limited.

On 1 July 2001, the company demutualised and transferred its business to The Royal London Mutual Insurance Society Limited.  Every year since then a report has been issued from the Supervisory Committee of the Scottish Life Fund.
