We've once again received independent validation of our Governed Range, and the processes underpinning it, from AKG.
The Governed Range is available as part of our individual and corporate pension products. It's designed for advisers looking for support to deliver quality ongoing investment advice, at a low cost.
What AKG assessed
Leading independent actuarial and consultancy firm AKG reviewed key areas of our Governed Range including risk profiling, asset allocation, fund selection, lifestyling, rebalancing and the role of the investment advisory committee. They also spoke with advisers who use the Governed Range.
Key findings
AKG reported that the Governed Range provides the adviser with a streamlined end to end investment process that includes ongoing reviews and clearly demonstrates governance in action.
"For advisers wishing to build an ongoing revenue stream through trail commission, the Governed Range delivers an ongoing review service at an appropriate cost for the client and in a way that's profitable for their business." confirmed Nigel Balchin, lead author of the AKG report.
Key points noted by AKG on what Scottish Life offers:
