Scheme funding

Scheme Funding is the general term used to describe the framework within which defined benefit pension schemes will operate once the Minimum Funding Requirement (MFR) ceases to apply. Unlike the MFR, Scheme Funding will not be a one-size fits all prescriptive regime but rather a wide framework within which Employers and Trustees can agree how their particular scheme will operate.
