Pensions Update 142 outlines the revised procedures for applying for continuous service and amends parts 7.15 to 7.21 of the IR12 PNs to clarify the position. Essentially, the main condition is that any employee must ensure that the job they perform is broadly the same both before and after a change of employment. A new Continuous Service flowchart for Controlling Directors has been inserted in PN 7.21a.
