SG Asset Management

Founded in 1998 with the backing of one of Europe's leading banks, SG Asset Management is a provider of specialist investment strategies. The global assets of the SG Asset Management group make it one of the top 20 asset management groups in the world, with specialist investment teams in Los Angeles, London, Paris and Singapore.

SG Asset Management recognises that no single office has the monopoly on investment ideas and utilises the teams in the group's global offices to enhance returns.

They offer two asset allocation funds investing in their most successful funds. The Stockmarket Managed Fund is primarily an equity fund and the Global Managed Fund, which is a balanced fixed interest and equity fund.

Chief Investment Officer John Richards, who heads the Asset Allocation Group, manages the funds by identifying geographic and sector out-performance ideas and overlaying these on benchmarks, using the full range of SG funds to achieve the desired weightings.

SG Asset Management's funds are branded 'SocGen'.
