Proposed transfer of certain annuities in payment to Prudential Retirement Income Limited

We're proposing to transfer a number of pensions that commenced payment on or before 31 December 2004 to Prudential Retirement Income Limited.  These are annuities that were written either by Scottish Life or under the Scottish Life brand, where Royal London is the underlying insurer.

Update 17/11/06. We can now announce that the Court of Session has approved the transfer, which will take effect on 30 November 2006.   

If your scheme's affected by this proposed change, we will have sent you a letter explaining what this means, and how it affects you as a Trustee.
