Aim

The fund aims to produce attractive investment returns by taking active positions against the FTSE Small Cap ex ITs index.


External Matrix Fund Description

The fund invests in unit linked collective investment funds with an active management style. Depending on underlying market conditions the tracking error of the fund is expected to be in excess of 5% against the FTSE Small Cap ex ITs Index measured on a rolling 3 year basis.


Underlying Fund Description

The fund is designed to give long term capital growth primarily investing in UK smaller companies. Stock selection is based on a bottom-up approach with the process being adapted from Investec's Four Factor Screening process.
