A good, old, sensible, reliable yardstick
At Scottish Life we've done away with using arbitrary descriptions or measurements of risk to communicate our investment choices. That's the key to our Managed Strategies. The concept is simple: an investment fund or strategy should be appropriate to the needs of the people who invest in them. Accordingly, our strategies have clear objectives over set periods of time (short, medium and long) and are guided by properly measured risk profiles. We also abide by a rigorous and transparent management process.
Transparent as a rock pool
Transparency is essential - these days more so than ever. In line with this, we have set up an Advisory Committee to monitor, on a quarterly basis, the performance of our funds and the risks that the investment manager should be allowed to take.
