Investec Asset Management Limited is a wholly owned subsidiary of Investec Plc, who are an international specialist banking group that provides a diverse range of financial products. Investec derive great benefit from the ownership of a financially strong, committed and stable parent and are increasingly finding that this sets them apart from many of their competitors.

Established in 1991, Investec Asset Management expanded its global reach by entering the UK marketplace in 1998. Since that time they have reinvigorated their investment operation and established an investment process focused on discipline and consistency. They now employ over 70 investment professional with some 600 members of staff in total, concentrating on delivering excellent levels of investment performance and customer service.

They have built a business with assets under management globally of £28.5bn (as at 31 December 2005), and more than a thousand institutional client relationships.
