Changes to our JP Morgan Premier Equity Growth fund
We are replacing the underlying fund within the Scottish Life UK Equity Core Plus (JP Morgan Premier Equity Growth) Pension Fund with Scottish Life UK Equity Core Plus (Cazenove UK Growth & Income) Pension Fund in early May 2010.

Who are Cazenove?
Cazenove Capital Management Limited (Cazenove Capital) is one of the oldest and most respected names in the London financial community, tracing its origins to 1825 managing assets of £11.1 billion (as at end June 2009). They have 25 highly talented and experienced fund managers responsible for pan-European equities, European credit, multi-manager investments and strategy and risk.
As part of our ongoing governance, it was identified that the underlying investment has experienced a sustained period of underperformance.
After reviewing rigorous analysis the Investment Advisory Committee (IAC) concluded that they no longer had confidence in the manager's investment process and ability to deliver strong future performance.
With this in mind we have taken the decision to replace the underlying investment with the Cazenove UK Growth & Income Fund.
Clients invested in this fund and their IFAs will have received a letter detailing this change and advising that no action is required by them.
About the Cazenove UK Growth & Income fund
This fund has a long track record of strong performance and is managed by a market-leading investment house. We believe that the manager's style and process are better suited to delivering consistent performance in different market conditions. The Fund is AA rated by Old Broad Street Research (OBSR), a leading UK fund research house.
