Phone number changes

We’ve been looking closely at how we handle your calls to us and have made some improvements to the phone numbers you can use to contact us.

Main switchboard number

We have introduced a new local call rate number, 0845 60 50 050, for our main switchboard. The number replaces our old national rate number (0870 606 2000). We will phase out the 0870 number by the end of June 2009.

Individual Policy new business enquiries

We have also introduced a new local call rate number for all Individual Policy new business enquiries. This is 0845 603 0154.

Improvements to call handling

We’ve also been working hard behind the scenes to reduce the amount of time it takes to answer your calls and to deal with more of your enquiries without being transferred.
