Yes, we know that a lot of people use Twitter to tell the world what they ate for lunch and what they can see out of the train window but we believe it can be used for a much greater purpose. We believe that it enables us to bring you the latest pensions and legislative news as and when it breaks.
As the techno-conscious among you and those who know a ‘tweet’ from a ‘re-tweet’ will know, Twitter allows you to post snippets of information up to 140 characters long. That’s not very long at all but when it’s used as we intend to use it, that’s the beauty of it! We’ll use Twitter to alert you to breaking news so you can either view the snippet or if you’re hungry for more, click on the link that we provide to digest the information further.
