Happy Christmas from the BeeHive
Well it’s that time of year again - time to shut the BeeHive down for the Christmas holiday. I’m just back today from the last leg of the Never-Ending Pensions Tour for 2009 (up in the Rhubarb Triangle once more; although this time we celebrated with an Indian meal in Leeds and no rhubarb at all). Finishing the tour dates for the year always leaves me with a kind of end-of-term feeling and this year more so.
Since writing the recent BeeLine about Ms Bruun moving on and my own impending departure from Scottish Life I have to say we’ve been inundated with e-mails from stalwart BeeLiners wishing us well. Thank you all so much; your best wishes really are appreciated. I would like to have written back to each of you, but I simply couldn’t have enough time to respond to so many e-mails so perhaps you will forgive me for simply saying thanks in this last BeeLine of the year.
Next year looks like being an important year for pensions (like, when isn’t it?) so I’ll need to give my two typing fingers a rest so I’m good and ready to return to the keyboard in January. I’ll see you again then I hope.
In the meantime I do hope you all have a happy holiday with your families and friends and enjoy the break. Don’t overdo things though; we’ve got a busy year ahead of us...
