ABI and AIFA publish consumer information on pension simplification
This is just a very short BeeLine to let you know that the Association of British Insurers (ABI) and the Association of Independent Financial Advisers (AIFA) have this week jointly published a consumer factsheet explaining some of the pension changes to come on A-Day.
It is obviously not very detailed, but does outline what issues people may come up against with the changes and highlights the need for them to review their pension arrangements. It recommends that people who think they may need to protect their pension or lump sum entitlements should get financial advice before A-Day.
