Ever had one of those days? Me too, in fact I’m having one at the moment. The more eagle-eyed among you may have noticed that we yesterday retrospectively changed the title of the BeeLine that was put out last week on the 30th of October.
The BeeLine in question was originally entitled ‘Combined Pension Forecasts hit the rocks’, but has been republished under the revised title of ‘Retirement Pension Planner hits the rocks’. Sorry about that. It may seem a small difference, but it’s not. There are in fact two separate and unconnected services offered by the Department for Work and Pensions and in that BeeLine I confused them. The two services are the Combined Pension Forecasts and the Retirement Planner1.
The BeeLine was written about the changes that have been announced regarding the Retirement Planner2, but the title of the BeeLine erroneously referred to the Combined Pension Forecasts and it’s that that we’ve put right by republishing it under a more appropriate title.
As ever, I’m grateful to the ever-alert BeeLiners out there for keeping me on the straight and narrow (for the second time this year!), even if it does lead me to the sobering conclusion that I’m sadly prone to mistakes just like everyone else…
