Scottish Life announces 2010 Age Change Campaign winner
01 February 2010
Scottish Life, the pensions specialist arm of the Royal London Group, has announced the winner of its 2010 Age Change Campaign prize draw.
In September 2009, Scottish Life produced an "instant expert" support pack, including case studies, a planning tool and client-facing material, to help IFAs plan their own campaign to their clients, and to maximise the business opportunities generated by the impending change to the minimum retirement age.
Scottish Life's support material gives IFAs the tools to help them identify the relevant individuals and communicate the changes to these clients. And for one lucky IFA requesting this material there was the opportunity to win the prize of a lifetime - a trip to South Africa in the summer of 2010.
The fortunate IFA heading to South Africa is Mr Mark Davies of Westminster Wealth Management LLP. There are also three other winners each receiving £300 holiday vouchers: Mrs Sue Lyon of The Financial Consultancy Co UK, Mr Paul Horner of Gerry Dupree & Co Ltd and Mr Roy Pickering of The Premier Partnership.
Mark Davies of Westminster Wealth Management commented:
"I'm really looking forward to this fantastic holiday to South Africa. If I manage to escape the lions on my safari, I'm also hoping to squeeze in some of the World Cup. All in all it'll be an incredible experience - roll on June."
Chris Peart, Individual Business Marketing Manager, said:
"We're delighted to announce the winner of our prize draw and hope that Mark Davies enjoys his trip to South Africa in the summer.
"Our 'instant expert' packs have been extremely popular with IFAs, with around 55,000 leaflets provided to advisers to send to their clients."
